Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Requirement Gathering & Documentation
o Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
o Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Business Process Analysis
o Evaluate current processes and systems; identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or improvement.
o Create process maps, flowcharts, and use cases.
• Solution Design Support
o Work with development and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
o Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story refinement.
• Stakeholder Management
o Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
o Communicate insights and updates in a clear, actionable format.
• Data Analysis & Reporting
o Analyze business data to support decision-making.
o Create dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
• Testing & Validation
o Assist in developing test cases, validating system functionality, and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Project Support
o Contribute to project planning, risk assessments, and change management activities.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
Technical Skills (Preferred):
• SQL and data querying skills
• Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics)
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and software development concepts
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or digital environment
• Certifications (desirable): CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, or Scrum Product Owner
